Ken was born in southern Louisiana in 1967. He spent much of his youth lost in daydreams as he explored the untamed forests and swamps that sprawled for miles around. It wasn’t all that unusual to find him slogging knee-deep through the swamps, half-expecting to encounter some terrible bog-monster that would undoubtedly devour him and leave his bones piled up in the corner of a muddy lair. It was a great place for a young man with an active imagination to grow up.
Even at a young age, Ken was interested in and excelled in writing. He penned his first story at about the age of nine, a horrible fifteen-page Sci-fi adventure inspired by the works of the great Ray Bradbury. At seventeen, he secretly began work on a serious novel project… a project that would be delayed by a real-life adventure.
Ken joined the military, and for the next ten years traveled the world and saw unimaginable wonders in far away places spanning from Asia to Europe. This is a part of his life that he would never trade. Somewhere along the way, he found a bride and started a family and amidst it all, even managed to complete his first novel.
Ken completed FIFTHWIND in the spring of 2008 and is currently editing the second book of The Kreggorian. The series of five books is planned for completion in 2015.
